Yes, there is an online application process. To apply, you need to complete the following steps :

1. Prepare Documents: Have electronic copies of the student's birth certificate, passports for the student and parents, student's Hong Kong visa (if applicable), school reports from the past two years (if available), and a recent student passport-size photo.
2. Fill Out the Form: Create an account and complete the online application form on the school's website here
3. Pay the Fee: Pay the non-refundable application fee of HK$900 and email the receipt to the admissions team using admissions@ashk.edu.hk. Please check the payment methods in this document.
4. Attend Assessment: You will be invited by Admissions to the school for an assessment test and interview.
5. Secure a Place: If accepted, you will need to secure your child's place by paying a Capital Fee (or purchasing a debenture), along with the tuition for the first month.

ASHK welcomes students of all races, religions, and nationalities. The key eligibility criteria are:

• Passing Assessments: Prospective students must pass grade-level assessments.
• Meeting Age Requirements: Applicants must meet the school's age requirements.
• Admission Priority: Priority is given to nominees of debenture holders, non-local student passport holders, children of ASHK staff members, siblings of current students, and applicants from other international schools.

No, ASHK is a day school and does not offer boarding facilities.

To determine which grade level to apply for, you'll need to check your child's age against our age checker. Please contact the Admissions team directly for the most accurate placement, as final grade placement may also consider your child's current grade level, previous academic performance and overall development.

ASHK offers a rigorous American-style international education. The curriculum is based on:

The assessment varies by grade level. For younger grades, there will be simple tasks to test the student’s English and school developmental levels. For older grades, we will test students’ English reading, writing, speaking and listening as well as their math.
